How to tag members in group post?

Facebook has been limiting the “@name” tag feature for group posts recently, especially from desktop. You can try tagging from the mobile app — it usually still works there.
 
I noticed the same problem recently. It seems Facebook updated something, and the tag feature stopped working for many users.
 
I can still tag normally, you can try going to their personal page to get the fb id and tag

I had the same problem recently. I tried it on my phone and it still works man.

It could be that your browser has an old cache that is preventing Facebook from recognizing your friends list correctly. Try clearing your cache, logging in again with a different browser, or trying incognito mode. This usually restores the tagging feature.

I try again on mobie phone, and it's working bro
 
if it's not tagging, you might want to check if Facebook's got any temporary glitches or if you need to update your browser. Does it work at all on mobile for you?
 
The problem of not being able to tag friends on Facebook is often caused by your browser's cache being too old. To fix this, do one of the following: clear your browser's cache, try logging in with a different browser, or use incognito mode. If the feature is still not restored, you can solve it by going directly to that friend's personal page to get the Facebook ID and use the ID to tag manually.

Facebook sometimes blocks tagging in comments if it detects spam like activity. from pc, the workaround is to type the full name slowly and wait for the dropdown to appear, or try using the mobile site sometimes the web version glitches.
 
if you can't do it on pc then try doing it on phone i think it still works.
 
Typing the full name slowly or switching to mobile usually bypasses these temporary tagging glitches..
 
Try updating or switching browsers, clear cache, disable extensions, or use Facebook's 'Reply' feature. If '@name' still fails, use mobile app to tag instead for now.
 
A quick fix Ive found is to refresh the page or restart the browser tagging often starts working again after that.

This problem is often encountered by computer users you can leave it for a few days the system will automatically restart and give you @ everyone
 
Just type @ then start writing their name, Facebook will show suggestions. pick the right one and you'll get tagged automatically.

Bro, tagging group posts on desktop has been updated for Meta, you can use mobile devices.
 
Try replying directly under their comment or using the mobile app
