My opinion is to you use backlinks parser to crawl your competitors backlinks ....then split them into forums, blogs, articles .e.tc follow their footprints then blast the url's related to each segments
Do you know of any software that categorizes a competitors backlinks? I know scrapebox finds blogs, but I haven't found software to analyze the source of data.

Yes, the software is called HI. Its free and the creator will even install it for you, so in order to run it you actually don't need to do anything. The biggest problem is its effectiveness erodes over time, becoming pregerssivly less function and unable to recognize patterns. You can train it to recognize new patterns and decipher methods by regularly parsing threads at BHW.
