How to stop websites from stealing your site content?

So you know how to steal using autoblog software, now.. anybody know how to stop people from stealing?

My site with 300+ posts is stolen. I don't mind if he take only 3-5 posts, but the whole website? That make his website exactly look like mine.

and he only steal content from my website, not other website.

the worst thing is, few of his pages rank higher than mine. This discourage me from updating the blog.

I talked to his webhost company and no respond. I emailed him 2 times, no answer.

I ask here cos I think you guys know to stop this.

I don't think that just talking to the web host will work, as they will probably want some kind of proof. Since the guy who ripped your content hasn't responded, what you could do next is file a DMCA complaint with Google. You can read more about that here:

Once you have proof (assuming that Google takes your side), you can then give that to the web host. If that doesn't work, get a lawyer.

Is there away easier than that? like inserting code or something? without include lawyer and stuff? Im not rich!

Isn't that to find out who stealing your content?

I already know who steal my content. But i dont know what to do. Im afraid if i do something serious, he will make revenge and clicking my adsense ads.

As far as I know, Copyscape's Copysentry will only show you who is stealing your content but it will not automatically report these duplicates to any authorities.
If you don't want to get a revenge from these websites, I would recommend you to look at these websites WHOIS information and, if these websited are hosted in the regular (not offshore hosting) - write an email to hosting administrator concerning your problem.
 
tell the stealer's hosting company ,then his web hoting will be limited.
 
the DMCA act works perfectly fine .Even one of my blog was taken down by google due to 5 posts only .not to mention i copied them when i was new .
 
one trick that i use: put a trap - a small image into the text of your new article (f.e. some of the dots). a lot of morons will copy the whole what they see including the image and the image than will link to your website. after that you have the proof

report their website wherever you think that it is possible:

try to create some strong backlinks to your post immediately after publishing so to be indexed faster than their

how they steal your content? if they use rss - make it shorter and never use full rss

If it's wordpress use this command at the end of the script in the themes function folder

Could you explain what this function do exactly? It eems to me that this disable totally the feed. No? What about those that have thousands of RSS readers, it will disable it as well?

Thanks, that will help many people. If I am in the foot of the OP I will implement that code. I prefer to stop RSS/FEEDS than stealing my content.

2. make some new posts and stick the phrase "click my ads" into the paragraph somewhere

3. if he steals that post, he'll get his adsense account banned

Okay... I think if you are using autoblogged ... These stealing ... then ... No matter what you do not want done ... common sense ... I think.
I use autobbloged and understand your position .. is ugly, but I think the solution is in the SEO.
If you do a good seo for your website you will have more visits and incresed.

The best thing to do is go on with your life and stop trying to fuck up someone .
If you are stealing someone else's content and then bitching about someone else stealing yours I think it's a fair game. It is virtually impossible to stop theft of content.Look around, almost everyone doing it in one form or another
 
well if you are looking for text protector tools..
you can simply use flash to store your text. now the problem is some bots cannot read the content of the flash.. but google bot of course can read the flash text..
so yea the best way to protect your work is to use flash. add watermarks and backlink to ur original work etc..

very simple shit to do...
but the question is. does it really worth the protection?

Do this if you're really pissed off at him. Other than that, there are actually LOADS of other methods, but they're all illegal (but impossible to get caught with).. And therefore, they're not allowed to be discussed on BHW. I can tell you, though, that taking his site down for some time will definitely make Google rank him lower. This can be done in a lot of ways, so you'd better do some research :)

Other than that, there's always just going to his site and clicking ALL his ads ten times every single day for a week. Do this with many proxies and remember to clear your cookies. You could even pay someone else to do it, or you could find a script that automatically clicks your adsense for you, and use it on his site. So many ways to get things done.

Oh, and here's yet another one! Google "Adsense Click Rings", find forums where people are doing this.. And put his site up there ;)
