How to stop viral events getting deleted

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction... I always wanted to try doing this so I gave it a go, but my events get deleted after about an hour.

I create an event that promotes a CPA offer (for the sake of the discussion we'll say it was a Free iPad offer). The description of the event instructs people to join the event, invite their friends, then to go to the link and enter their email to receive their free iPad.

I use a method to drive traffic to the facebook event from outside of facebook to initially seed the viral effect. I basically spam forums saying I got a free iPad from facebook and link to the event. Sure enough within half an hour, I had about 100 people join the event, and they had invited about 3000 of their friends, and I was getting hits to the CPA offer. It was growing faster and faster and I got excited, until about half an hour after that, when my event was deleted! I tried this with different titles and links but I keep having the same result.

I started by creating a new account, which I phone verified. Then I made a fanpage. Then I created the event from the fanpage. I've seen similar events lasting for days and reaching big numbers... any idea why my events get deleted but theirs don't? Would seriously appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

was that the very first thing you did after creating a brand new account? you think fb might notice that?

sorry should have at least tried to help. age your account and conduct other activities first. make some status updates, etc.

you can't stop this,the only way to stop is to spin events and links

Try spinning the event as stated above ^^

Facebook monitor events quite closely now because of all the scripts that ended up with like 5 million+ invites on an event, if you spread it out you may have more luck
