How to STOP HACKERS in Wordpress...

For me it's Word-Fence All the way, I also change the login url of my admin panel, and then lastly I hide my site footprint using "Hide-My-Wordpress" which costs about $10.

Yeah, I think that the hackers would be using a VPN or VPS, and it would only be a matter of changing their location enough times (within the service) to a country that is accepted before they could continue their efforts. They'd have to be really keen to experiment with so many locations, but if they really wanted access... The WP plugins and htaccess code additions seem like great ideas.
