I've managed to get great serps, but I don't spend very often at the top of the rankings as I'm always dancing, I have a shop with over heads so it's an absolute nightmare when we drop position for a couple weeks. How can I make it so that when the rankings increase my site just goes up or down a couple places rather than dropping 25 places then 2 weeks later increasing 28 places?
Is it possible or does google just love to dance?
Sorry if this don't make sense, I'm shattered

Sometimes your site was affected by Algorithm testing, we do not know what type of algorithm they're running for. Recently, Google says they're working for penalizing those site that is over optimized is short "massive backlinks with poor content". I've also experienced dropping on serps and after a week it goes up, it's a part of algorithm testing that's why site goes down and up or maybe your competitors is very aggressive in promoting there site. Hope it helps.

Stop playing the music!!

SERPs dance on the music of your backlinks. Give a pause to the music and you pause the dance ;)

keeps happening here too...i'm about 4 months in. I jump all the time...can't get past page 5.
