Hey guys, think the title pretty much covers what i'm getting at. Keep having my own ads served up to me on the GDN and sick of getting charged for impressions. I know I can click on the li'l icon on the ad and ask it to stop serving it to me and give a reason why but I'm worried that this might damage my quality score.

I made an audience that includes anyone who has been to the CMS URL and made that an exclusion in all my campaigns but its only like 2 people so not big enough.

Cheers in advance for the help guys.

Also, first post!! (of many)

Go ahead and click on the li'l icon. You should not see your own ads anymore. This won't hurt your QS or the equivalent for display campaigns (Relative CTR). In fact, it will help somewhat since you wont be served those ads.

If you are mixing search and display, as I suspect you may be, don't. Two different animals so take advantage of that. No reason why ads shown to searchers should be the same as those just surfing.

Why are you using CPM and not CPC?

Ok. So it definitely won't effect my QS yea? I am using CPC. When I said paying for my own ads I meant with my CTR, not money. Should of worded that differently.

Though I am paying for impressions on FB, would it be the same thing where I can tell facebook without taking a quality hit?
