Hey, anybody knows of a simple way to sticky your posts on blogspot/blogger to let a post remain in the top of your website?

I don't see why they don't got a simple way to do this... It is very easy to do in wordpress.

Any help is appreciated

I didn't know how either but hey google is sometimes our friend.
tried it and it works

1. take a html/javascript thing (layout)
2. make the text you want.
3. drag the html/javascript box above the blog box.
4. done.

i got it from here:
Code:

If you can't figure it out, I'll make some printscreen for you.

BHW is my friend, google is da big bad punisher :P.

I did saw when I used google's hell machine, but I was thinking not to try it. As I wanted my blog post to be stickied and not a html box.
But do you really think a html box can rank just as well, and function just as well as a normal blog post?

I am no seo professional or something so I am not 100% sure.
but google reads all the html stuff when they visit your site.
they don't read stuff like flash etc.

so The answer to your question should be, yes it will rank as same as the normal blog posts.

Go to article editing and change publishing date to "set automatically" instead of the old date and click save. The URL of the article should remain the same but the post will go to the fisrt position.

1. Connect to your Blogger account and click "Layout" in the "Dashboard."

2. Select "Add a Page Element" and choose the function you want to use as your "sticky post." For example, if you would like to announce an ongoing contest, you can choose "Text" and enter the details. "Text" allows you to add and edit HTML. By selecting "HTML/JavaScript," you also can choose to link to a previously written, archived post that gives the written details of the contest.

"sticky a post in blogspot" I never think about it although I have 10 blogs in blogger. Thanks to him who put this question and how give correct answer too.
