How to stick to a method you started?

Think of it like this - you make the money when you successfully complete the project.
Having a dozen part finished projects makes you nothing. Having one successful project finished earns you money every month.

Start a journey thread.
It will motivate you to keep going (atleast it did for me so far). All because of the motivating words from other forum members, and your own wish to not disappoint yourself and/or others. At the same time it's motivating as hell to see the improvements and progress that you have made since the beginning of your thread.

I get where you're coming from with this comment, but its also a semi-dangerous comment...If something is taking you 10 years to make progress or see some kind of return on your time IN THE FORM OF MONEY...You should find something else to do, try another method.
If your struggling for 10 years to become an actor or a professional athlete or an ace programmer then absolutely keep pushing and never give up.
However if you're trying to make money online, which I will assume the OP had in mind then if you plan on sticking it out for 10 years the payoff better be in the 7-8 figure zone.
Working for 10 years on something to just make enough to brag to the fellas in the neighborhood is not at all in any way worth it and you should re-evaluate what your doing and what you expect to gain from the amount of time invested into what you're doing.
If your going to work for 10 years on something, that something should, once achieved, change your life AND lifestyle immeasurably, financially and personally.
Honestly if it takes you 10 years to make money online you weren't trying you were dabbling as a hobby.
if you sense that the method will make you money,stick to it until you make it.like you into the adult traffic,yes its a competitive niche,but there is money to be made.find a super affiliate in that niche in private forum or blog to guide you setup the campaign.suggest you always pick evergreen niche

I find my main job(i.e. web development) easier than IM, because in this case, I exactly know what to do. In IM you have to invent things rather than following the same trail. It's a tough job. People who are full-time IMers , are very stubborn, motivated and smart people.
With the limited IM success that I have got till now, I can tell you to stick to a method if you are not doing so. If you need a break, then work for 2 hrs and take a 15 minute off and relax. Do not break your concentration in between or your productivity becomes poor. Total work per day should not be less than 8 hours. If you think you cannot work for 8 hours today, take a day off and don't sit at your machine for that day. Last but not the least, work smartly. Hard work might or might not pay, but smart work always will.

Secret? It's easy - you just have to be a grown up. Seriously, if you find fb profile more interesting than methods that can make you money, or you are easily sold by next shinny perfect for noobs $100/day no brain required method, you still need to think about what you really want from IM.

2)you don't REALLY NEED money---Maybe that one is the case.I have no economic pressure currently.
However,when there are some changes to my financial resources regarding the daily routine job in the future,then I will not have money and time to invest into IM if failed to get ready NOW.
So,thanks for all your inspiration.I ll stick to a method even if there are risks of wasting money and TIME on it after a failed effort.
