How to start something BIG like Tripadvisor or Hotels ?

i have been working on small things till now making few thousands dollars a month and now I want to turn big. Maybe a start-up which would be something like hotels or a site which would provide Flight bookings, hotel bookings info...In short a travel site just like hotels(U guessed it right) or tripadvisor

But I dont know how to get started. Can anyone please guide me? Its a long term business business goal

I mean how should I get started. I have the experience in IM industry and know how to make a site....

So how should I go about on getting the booking facilities on my site for flights and hotels? Do I have to contact them? Will they provide the facility to a newbie site? Ofcourse its my long term so it will become big with time...

Start as an affiliate for the big sites and then slowly build your own database where you can have much much better %.
