How to start making money writing today?

I've done a bit more research and decided to set up my own niche sites. Going to have a weight loss website, a football website with position specific information/drills, and a dating website. I have real life experience in all these areas so i shouldn't have a problem writing original content.

The problem i DO have is that i need to start making money today, and those websites are obviously going to be long term investments. I have written a couple articles for iwriter and i'm waiting for approval, but iwriter only pays 2.50 an article and doesn't have a lot of topics that i feel comfortable writing about.

So what are some ways that i can start monetizing my writing today? And what kind of articles are IMers most interested in buying? Is learning SEO a necessity?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To earn money of writing just check few sites - Freelancer, Odesk. These will give you more money.. though best will be fiverr.

If you're a native speaker and you have a college degree, you are much more qualified to write than 99% of your competition. If not, you have to really work on your craft. Copywriting is much more difficult than most people think because, to be blunt, the market is flooded with under qualified hacks. My advice: work for free and build up a solid portfolio. After a month or two, discuss your work with an expert. It's much more than filling a page with words. You want to become a master of grammar, sentence structure, and syntax but without becoming too robotic. Eventually you'll start to develop a sense of flow: This is what makes a writer unique. If you really commit to this, you can really separate yourself from the pack and charge much more for your services. Best of luck.

Textbroker is cheap at only a cent per word, but registration only takes a week or so to get started. You can fill the gap with amazon mturk and earn about 5 bucks a day relatively quickly.

Starting today would involved using the various content mill sites that are out there - might not be the worst option if your looking to build a portfolio and possibly network with some clients. Not a realistic long-term option at all in my opinion though!

try first odesk and elance you can make more money specially if you have great skills in writing
