Hello guys. I already have 1 stripe account, but i want to make more than 1, however I don't want them to be connected in any possible way.

My first one is currently under my personal name and surname, however, I'd love to open another stripe account which would be under company's/business name, so im thinking of opening a LLC or something similar so it can be not under my name and surname, but on a business name, while registering for stripe.

So I'm wondering if it's possible at all to get registered on stripe without disclosing your first name and surname, just simply as a company? Because i want to have multiple accounts and therefore divide the risk this way. In other words, i don't want to keep all my clients subscriptions on just 1 stripe account, because if it gets closed/shut down, i risk of losing a lot of clients. I'd rather have 100 clients subscribed between 6-8 different stripe accounts, rather than just all the clients on 1 stripe account.

To open multiple Stripe accounts without any connection between them, you’ll need to establish separate legal entities, such as individual LLCs, for each account. This allows you to register each account under a business name rather than your personal name. However, Stripe still requires some personal information during the registration process due to regulatory requirements.

This approach can effectively distribute your clients across multiple accounts, minimizing risk in the event one account encounters issues. However, it’s important to consider the increased administrative responsibilities associated with managing multiple entities.

Yes you will need to setup a second stripe account with an LLC or LTD ONLY if you can get around the verification details that will be used on your LLC or LTD account

He will still need to provide his personal info tho. Whats the work-around for that?

You can reduce the risk of account linkage by forming an LLC or other corporate entity, registering a Stripe account in the company's name, and separating the personal information and management methods between accounts.

Thanks a lot, that's what i thought of doing, because i've heard people are managing multiple stripe accounts by having different LLC.

However, it's still not clear to me, how do i bypass personal verification for stripe?

Okay, let's say i register on stripe as a LLC(as a company), but don't they still ask me for my personal name and surname and the photo of ID or whatever?

Because even if these will be different companies , won't stripe still ask for my personal name and surname?

Moreover, when it comes to website, i can create different websites to imitate different company and person each time. But when it comes to bank(IBAN), can i also get a bank(IBAN) for each LLC not under my name? Because stripe also requires bank for the payouts, so the bank must also be not under my personal name and surname, but on the company..?

Guys, can i get more replies??

You can not set up multiple stripe accounts without verifying your information each time. There is absolutely no way to bypass the personal information section legally. However one can still be under a business name if you have an LLC or S Corp.

When doing payouts, if the bank account isn't in your name, stripe will ask for proof that the bank account is in that business name via a previous statement or voided check. This proof will have to contain your account number.

Hopefully, that answers your questions.

If you can go as far as opening an LLC, why not just use a merchant account?
It'll never get shut down.
