How to Set Up A Proxy Server?

    Hey Guys,

    Befor anyone posts on here 'GOOGLE' it so on i already have :confused:

    Ive been looking around for UK & Austrailian proxy services and finally given up, so I decided that I will attempt to create my own.

    Can someone explain the basic needs and give me somebasics on how to create a server or just lead me in the write way, id be more than happy to also share it with you :cool:

    Can someone also please would I be looking to buy a windows server or linux server?

    NOT PLEASE DO NOT SUGGEST TO INSTALL GLYPE OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.

    I think linux would work well with you..install a copy of centos or ubuntu server and loads of static ips..
    To run a dedicated server is complicated...

    From what I understand of your question, ya, you'd need to just set up a server from a UK and/or AU data center then install squid or whatever.
