Hi,

I have done a lot of research but i just can't find the right answer without buying shit to try it.

I want to set up my own torrent seeding servers. Each server will have files summing up to +-5GB.

Now, i've seen a lot. You have seedboxes, dedicated servers or whatever but i don't know what the right set-up will be with the right software.

I have to be able to upload 20.000+ files and start seeding them right away. Public. So if you have a way to automate that it would be lovely. I don't mind setting up multiple servers instead of one huge server.

So if any 1 can spoon feed me this one i would really appreciate it.

What kind of server should i use? As far as i found out, dedicated ( much ram not needed ).
What OS should be installed, a.k.a. what software should i use?

Please help me in the right direction.

Also i am not really sure how it works exactly. Creating a torrent won't start seeding it right? Do i have to become my own tracker?

Thanks!

@zodman i actually did but i'm afraid i still can't figure it out.

I do have tried some setups and one is running with ruTorrent but i can't figure out how to actually seed them torrents.

I think i miss a lot of knowledge in actually seeding. Downloading is what i can do but for me i really want to start seeding my own torrents. That's where it goes wrong somehow.

I can create a new torrent but every single time whatever software i use even torrent software on my own PC i can't figure out how to start seeding it.
I guess i am doing something wrong with that but i just don't know what i am doing wrong.
