How to send mass emails without going to spam folder?

Recently acquired a mailing list I want to try out and see validity but all the services I use the email ends up going to spam folder and none of the recipients ever see it. How do I avoid being marked as spam by services like gmail? If I send direct from my gmail address will that work instead of using a mass mail company like sender?

could be your ip have been blacklisted try get response to see if the same thing occurs. also some html email templates don't go to inbox because they have been abused and flagged by email providers.if your using those try something different.

I used a service to send them so they werent from my IP.

You said "acquired email list" did you buy that email list or collected those emails organically? If you bought that email list I suggest you to clean your email list by using bulk email verification software. Also, there are other reasons as well.

1. Use of spam trigger words in the subject line or email body. Check your email content for spam trigger words.
2. You didn't add unsubscribe link
3. You didn't follow HTML email best practices
> Use a maximum width of 600-800 pixels
> Keep your HTML code as simple and clean as possible.
> Optimize your images for email
>Don’t use obscure fonts
and last but not least optimize your email for the mobile.

Again, I used a service to send them. SO they did all of this for me. Except the spam words... how do I find out what they are? All the rest of your issues were done by Sender.... the site I used. The emails were scraped from instagram groups based on my niche.

You can read an article published by Hubspot on the spam trigger words, also there are many other article and list of spam trigger words you can check and see if you have any of those in your list or not.

-> You can tell your subscribers to whitelist your email.
-> tell your Gmail subscribers to move your email to the primary email section
-> Does your service offer a spam checker before sending your email? by using spam checker you can check if your email will lend in the inbox or spam folder and then optimize your email for inbox it.
