How to send mass email?

Keeping websites like AWeber etc aside for a while, I was wondering if there are any free software that I can use to send bulk email? I know there used to be stuff like TurboMailer or SendBlaster (except they can't send a lot of emails for free).
If anybody knows threads to these paid softwares given out for free here on BHW, please let me know too. I searched but to no avail.

you need good smtp - simple mail transfer protocol..

and you need good mailer.. which sends mass emails.



your emails will be in inbox not in spam only when the SMTP IP will be dedicated one. :)
 
How many emails are you trying to send? Have you tried mailchimp before? Its free subcription is Up to 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 emails per month.
 
I setup servers with multiple IPs, IP rotation and send using Interspire... Sending quantity depends on IPs you have on the server. Dedicated server is preferred. But all servers provider do not allow to send mass mails.
 
You can just code your own, theres a lot of free codes to send mass email just use them
 
Switch to the Mailings ribbon.
Click on the Finish & Merge menu and select the Send E-Mail Messages option.
From the To drop-down menu, select the field containing the email address of each recipient.
In the Subject text box, enter the subject line used for the email message.

Hi mate! How many subscribers does your audience have? MailChimp free plan could be a solution :)

Amazon ses
aweber single opt in (i got 4 of these that I don;t use)
sendy
 
Interspire . its like aweber but you have 100% control
+
smtp . its hard to find one that will not shut you down for bulk mailing

Bulk Email senders for free would be very difficult. Even if you find one, there will be issues with it. But you can try Mailchimp free plan,Sendy if your requirement is small.
 
Success in mass mailing depends less on software but much more on IPs used content you sending
how good your email list is
how many people are marking you as spam

so if these points are not taken into consideration
any software will fail and all emails will either reach spam or blocked beforehand by ESP
 
Bulk sending is prety hard for people who dont know tech details of emails sending.

Free solution is hard to find mate, either you will lose patience while correcting the errors of free service or you will have only one time gig with that with no visibility of your email either being send or even not. Try to use the available free option of the legit ESP.
 
If You have small amount of legit emails list You can try those online services, but I bet later or sooner You will have to use self hosted solution like @bhavik85 example.
