For small e-mail list and trackable FREE mass emails I prefer Mixmax. (200 mails per day).
For mass e-mails campaign (500k per day) I use my own in-house web mailer.

It depends on your list size. If it is big, you need to setup your own server and software. Or you can rent it from somewhere.
