This is a big question...
if you want to do it the dropshipping way, then you need to find a good product , make good titles, high quality images, and the most important a good description

Still EBay the best way to start if you want o sell online, it is newbie friendly, and with low capital to enter
Amazon is another level

the best way if u want to do dropshipping...

1.- Look for sellers with a seller rank between 1000 - 10000
2.- check his products....
3.- look for products with more than 4 sells the current month
4.- found the product in any supplier (amazon, walmart, kmart, etc...)
5.- list the same product, with the same title, with the same description...but more cheaper...
6.- check fees.... paypal fee, ebay fee, supplier fee, shipping, taxes....
7.- profit...
