Hey guys,

I have an inventory of high priced items

that I would like to sell on ebay.

I never sold an item on ebay and Iv'e understand that to sell high priced items
I need to build some seller reputation on ebay and it can take few months.

I like to know if there is any way to bypass that

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated

Thanks

You might as well attempt to sell your items without the fancy rating. If that doesn't work then listen to the above guys.

Well you can build a rep through purchasing too so if you make a whole bunch of really small purchases and get good feedback you can have a decent rank in no time. Be warned though with ebay fees combined with paypal fees you get screwed a bit.

honestly it doesnt matter. If you are selling real goods, not knock offs, if you take care of the people that are buying from you, it doesnt matter, people will buy no matter what your rating, many people dont even look at your feedbacks. The rules and regs favor the buyer, so people are not that concerned anymore.

hire some one and ask him to give fake reviews and are you bringing things from whole sale items seller? You get nice profit if you know buying and selling at ebay

Thank you guys for all the reply's,

I have an inventory of very expensive stuff $20k and more
And I never sold on ebay, now after researching a bit I understand that the best
way for me to sell those items is to get a top seller account, or not even top seller
just account that he is good enough and reputed enough to sell items in this kind of prices.

but after more researching I found that ebay and paypal fee's are outrages so Im not sure
it will be the best to sell this kind of Items on ebay though I have more items in the range of
$2k-$10k which those are more likely better to sell on ebay.

Im still trying to figure the best way to sell those items (art, jewellry, judaica, filigree etc)

also the rest of sites I found that you can sell art online takes insane fee's up to %30
which is kinda f*uked up I mean $3k from $10k sale its insane.

Anyway thanks for all your tips Ill take them all in mind.

Cheers

As far as building feedback as a buyer

Go to advanced search.

Check title and description.

Check items priced from ______ to _______ and enter .01 and .40.

Check auction.

Check free shipping.

Then at the top at the search bar. Enter pen, book, bead, car, screen, phone, cent, penny, desktop, red, coupon, stamp, coin, ebook, bag, free shipping, and etc.

Pretty much anything random you can think of off the top of your head.

Then I look at the lowest priced listings and sometimes the ending soonest.

Whats so great about using advanced search is it narrows down want you need for cheap feedback and you're searching all categories at once.

Don't do it too much in a short period of time though, because buyers have been hit by 'feedback manipulation'

Now as far as receiving selling feedback.

Sell pretty much the same things thats listed above to buy for buying feedback.

Except mark the item as paid before they can even pay and leave them positive feedback the second the auction is over.

Ship the item as soon as possible with delivery confirmation then mark it as shipped.

Also to really butter your buyer up send $1.00 free in the package.

Yes this way is costly but it is almost a sure way to build 5 star top rated seller feedback.

Again don't do it too much in a short period of time! because some sellers have been hit by 'feedback manipulation'

Best wishes.

I could assist if you forward a pm. The specifics of he items are important shipping is also crucial as certain carriers don't insure many items. After around 3k you'll be able to move more transactions. Yes, there's is away around everything and the fastest way between two points is a "straight" line. If you never sold on eBay it's going to take time to learn the ropes but reading up prior o making mistakes is key.

Ebooks and Penny Auctions! You just dont want to do it to much and dont want to buy from the same sellers frequently!

Im doing it now and its working great for me.

i would recommend buying and selling ebooks on ebay. i tried that and was suspended. they catch on quick when trying to "manipulate feedback scores"
