How to sell a me-too supplement?

So you think about selling yet another Vitamin D supplement.
If you're famous, you just say: "hey guys, you are so great and loyal, here is my new supplement, buy it" and they do.
If you're not or if you have a new website with low rank, nobody comes to your website to begin with.
Given that you cannot promise anything with supplements and you can get vitamin D at every corner(at prices you cannot beat), how do you sell something like that, if you are new to the market and don't have massive funds or a huge following and are not at a competitive price.

You don't need to add it to this network specifically, it's just an example that came to mind. But you need to deal with affiliates and some people hate it

For supplements you need a BRAND. Short and easy to remember

Get the domain and setup the social media accounts and youtube channel IMMEDIATELY
And if it is a hot brand, don't tell anyone until you get those accounts.

A trademark requires an existing product IN COMMERCE so you can't get that until
your product is manufactured.

THEN (and 99.99% of people forget this) write a letter to each of them and tell them you are working on
a new project and ask nicely for a copy of the yearly directory / buyers guide.

The buyers guide will give the contact details of the manufacturers.

Then write on your letter head to your selected manufacturers and get a quote for 1000, 5000, and 10,000
bottles of your CUSTOM formulation.

Only after your quote will you be able to compare your unit cost + advertising + fulfillment (you will be shipping
yourself at the start unless you have money to burn) to the market price (healthfood store, walmart, amazon and ebay)
and see if you can make money.

You are shooting for a 20X multiple if you can ever convince a distributor to sell your product ( If it costs you $1, then
it sells for $19.95) Your multiple is less if you are doing everything yourself.

But wait - there's more!

To REALLY have a chance of selling a supplement you have to have a USP (unique selling proposition) of why your
CUSTOM formulation is better than the other evil vitamin sellers and you have to have leverage in getting that
message out. Website(s) and sales funnels are the 1st step.

To succeed you need the BIG GUNS. YOU NEED A BOOK.

So you have to go to Fiverr and hire a ghost writer to help you write your book. You can have hard copies printed locally
to sell on your website, BUT you really need to get it on Amazon but would prefer that those pirates don't keep all
the profit. So you publish it on Ingram Lightning Source and YOU SET THE DISCOUNT TO "SHORT DISCOUNT"
so Amazon only gets 20% not 40%.

Then make your video shorts, video commercials and video infomercials to push on all the video sites.

Set up an Affiliate Program on your WooCommerce store

And buy Rafflepress and run weekly raffles for people that join your list from Instagram links.

Buy logo merch T-Shirts from Alibaba for $1 each (1000 units) and get your book and a shirt to
anyone that is interested (FREE BOOK - FREE T-SHIRT - you pay postage and handling)

Do these things in addition to everything in the courses listed above.

You will succeed.

My advise is to choose a niche and customize the product according to OTHER PRODUCTS
IN THAT NICHE. Check ebay and Amazon. Example - Male Testosterone Enhancement.
Some of those products on Amazon and eBay I KNOW are $1 a bottle products and the
are selling for $59.95. There is a lot of room to work with that kind of range.
