How to sell a domain name?

I happened to stumble on this very short domain name related to a good niche. I checked flippa and they are selling this kind of domains to $300-$500.
Now I am certain that mine can get at least $100.

But the problem is, this is the 1st time im trying to do this.

Can I just go to godaddy and buy the domain and sell it on flippa?
How to transfer the domain because godaddy is giving it under my name?
Is there anything else i need to do other than buying the domain..

Pls help me..

Yes, you can go to godaddy and purchase it. Then list it for sale on Flippa. After you sell it, you can simply transfer the domain name to the buyers account as long as they create an account on godaddy. Now when you sell it, just do an account transfer, and for more information on that, just do a google search "how to account transfer on godaddy". This should be good for now. Good luck man!

dont worry its pretty easy. just go and buy it on godaddy and sell it on flippa. btw if your into domaining, i have many neat domains. PM me if you want to buy some from me.

yes its pretty easy to register and put it on flippa.. but the problem is I auctioned my domain about 5 days ago and its going to end in 2 more days... so far its 6views and 0 bids!

I can see that lot of shitty domains gets more bids there and some selling for very funny numbers. Im not sure what went wrong with mine, maybe because im new there and no positive feedback.

Once you buy the domain name you don't need to do anything with it - not even park it - if you're looking to sell immediately.

As stated, once you have a buyer and have received payment, you can get him to open a godaddy account and simply push the domain from your account to his at no extra charge.

I think you also need to promote your sale too. I have many good domains on sedo but no offers unless you promote. Where else can i sell my domains? Help guys...

So if you are just selling a domain name, use sedo and I assume if you want to get more money out of it, build a website and sell it on flippa?
