How to see most recent backlinks aquired?

Use ahrefs. It will show you a lot of recent links even with free version.

I would also recommend Ahrefs. If you register for free, you can generate up to three full reports.
The trick here is to use a bot for hotmail/yahoo accounts, so that you can generate more than three once the quota for the account is used. Download the trial version of ZP, mess around with the boxes to create a bot for hotmail and then use the single threaded poster, to generate 5-10 accounts.
If you don't want to go through that much hassle, then buy some from the BST section.
