How to scramble my view source code?

I once visited a site that had CPA***d widget installed and when i wanted to see the information on what i required i went to "view source code" and it was totally scrambled. Any ideas how he does that?

that one is easy.. just did it the other day.

That's not it, but it's useful none the less. Sorry I'm not posting the script for the world to see. Good news is its free, its php and google knows all about it. Good luck
