How to s e l l my domain? Should I keep it?

I have a 1 year old domain that is soon expiring, and my initial thought was to not renew and let it die. On the other hand, it might come in handy later as it is an aged domain, and it got to have some kind of value right? It has no backlinks or anything like that though.

I also have some other expiring domains, how and where do I s e l l them?

If I buy an expired domain for lets say xx amount of dollar, do I always have to pay that same amount each year? And what happens if the website/company that I bought the domain from all of a sudden shuts down? I assume I can't lose the domain, right?

hey mate,your domain is top domain means marketplaces are the best option for you,because the transaction is handled by a trust company a making of it more likely that buyers will follow through with the sale.

Simple, buy domains from trusted domain selling company/websites. I don't know, why do you buy domains from the company/website shuts down.

I obviously don't plan on buying domains from non trusted websites, its just that I want to know what happens with a domain if I buy from a company/website that shuts down.

What about renewing a 1 year old domain that does not have any backlinks that I already have, is it worth keeping as it has aged one year already, if I renew it I have spent 25 dollars for 2 years.

Or should I let it go and pick up a similar but new domain later when I need it for about 12 dollars?

IF your domain has no backlinks or traffic or any good stats about it i don't think it's even worth any money or worth to sell it.

Anyone can confirm this? A i year old is the same as a totally brand new domain, what about a 3 year old domain? Unless backlinks etc, no different than a brand new domain?

I second Flippa.

Domains have other values besides SEO value. For example, brandability aka the domain name itself. One of my domains (.com) was evaluated at $1600 mark based solely on name. It was cool sounding 5 letter domain name. The value is in rarity. Short domain names are rare (I came up with the name myself btw)

Not worth anything. 1 year age is easy to come by so no one in their right mind would pay you more than reg fee, if even that.

Domain with no backlink or any traffic, it is not even worth to sell it. If your domain have good backlink and more traffic, then it is worth to buy. And also your domain is expired. From my knowledge no one is ready to buy expired domain with no good stats.

Well, Don't post in any forum asking for opinions about this. When you do so, people ( like me ) might find out your intention to just sell the domain name. I'm sure, none could buy domain name for $$ even it's 3 years old.

Better do search & learn about how to buy a domain that sells.
