Hi, so I was robbed on 20th May, they took my car, laptop and lot of my stuffs.

I am trying my best to bounce back (I am a php programmer ). Currently no project at hand and I need to make money to be able to get back on my feet.

so I have this tech blog I use to run and it earns my approximately 300$ monthly, I abandoned it for 3 years now and I earn only around 60$ a month,

I want to revive the blog and I am confuse on the right steps to take and also best way to monetize it, I was useless solely Adsense on it.

Thanks, I will appreciate any idea or suggestions that can help me get back on my feet, it’s becoming depressing

Start creating quality contents around your niches..

Best search for buyers Keywords and create post around it..

Mapped two month for daily articles

Also updates previous contents, articles, post, videos etc on the website..

Wishing u all success

Sorry for ur lost

Sorry that happened to you. People in this world can be shitty humans.

First thing I would do is go to your website and check the content. Edit the content so that it has nearly perfect on-page SEO.

Secondly, I would create or re-access social media profiles for the website.

Thirdly, I’d start posting new content frequently & consistently that complies with Adsense content terms of service.

First of all, if you linked Adsense with G analytics, you can check those pages that used to earn a lot. Then check the search console to see which keywords you lost, check the top 3/5 sites on SERP to know why you lost them. It may be that your content is outdated, you need more links or G thinks your site is as good as dead.

Update all your articles, don't delete anything. Submit them for re-indexing or use the rankmath indexing API plugin. Do some keyword research and start writing.

As for your earnings, check your ads' viewability and optimize the placements. Use vignette, anchor, and native ads. Good luck.

Thanks guys, all noted, I will start this immediately

Basically, the best way to revive your site is to add new content.

It's obvious you're already getting traffic and earning a little from your blog.

Sixty bucks a month is a better place to start than a completely new blog with zero dollars a month.

To reverse engineer your competitors, you can invest some of your blog earnings into Semrush or Ahrefs' one-month subscription.

Maybe you've no clue what topics to write on, but don't worry.

Just find your competitors, and they will do your homework for you.

You did tell me that you've largely abandoned your blog, which is why it's only making 60 bucks a month.

No problem if you don't know where to start regarding topics to write on.

Get your competitors to do it.

Just enter their domains into SEO paid tools, look for the keywords they rank organically for and correlate that with monthly search volume as well as keyword difficulty, load up the content to check if it's relevant and still up-to-date.

You will then have a list of topics that people in your niche are interested in.

You will have start putting lot of decent content on thee website. Google will notice this and rank your website.
