How to report offline websites to Google?

Hey!

Lets say a website is for 1-2 weeks (or longer period) not online/accessible because there are some database errors on the server side. Whats the best way to report this to google that google takes the site out of the index? I know that google does this automatically but what can be done to speed up that process?

You want the pages deindexed?

In Google Webmaster Tools it is under Site Config -> Crawler Access -> Remove URL.
