I agree with most people here, you should worry more about your rankings and SEO strategy than trying to report some one. On top of that, if you do report them to Gooogle, do you really think that one of their employees will go, check your competitor website and lower their rankings? I think the only reason why Google collects those reports it so analyze what are main black hat tactics are out there to adjust their algorithm. Basically they will aggregate all complaints and see overall image. So if you think by reporting your competitor they will solve your issue you are wrong. Basically it is much better to spend your time working on your own SEO than trying to complain about your competitors SEO.
 
Nobody likes a snitch. Not in the playground during recess. Not in "the yard" in prisons. Certainly not in SEO.

this is NOT breaking any rules, it's perfectly legit, and even if you report them for it, google doesn't penalize for this.

Maybe you should learn what you are doing before you worry about attacking someone else
 
It looks like OP has vanished (no response from him) I think he learned his lesson even tho it was the hard way.
 
Think more about how to optimize your site and less about taking another one down. You could have better results this way and you'll certainly get some good night sleep. You need both.
 
I don't see how OP is wrong asking such thing in white hat SEO thread? his competitor maybe using black hat technique to gain better rank, then OP has the right to know if it is possible to prevent this.

there is no mercy in this commercial world, if you can't be at their level, you should grab them down to your level. that's the common sense. Please don't tell me you are going to give them applause for beating you, so freaking FAKE.
