how to reply first one on famous ppl on twitter ?

Helly everyone
i always see someone reply first one to the famous people on twitter and he gets so many many followers from this tip

forexample :

justinbieber tweeted a tweet after 1 sec he replies first one with : if you want to see strange information follow this account @.......


anyone ? ^_*

create an alert via yahoo pipes, let it to check every amount seconds you like on that specific account and let it to comment.
if you cant create one search for auto reply twitter on yahoo pipes , there are some already builded pipes that search on specific keyword and reply to that, just modify them a little and there you have your own.

Really, have you tried that with Twitter? Would that really work for that?

I have tried the same thing with this chrome extension called Page Monitor that I use to track newly created threads in forums, but I can't seem to set it up correctly with Twitter. Even the slightest changes like a number increasing or something would send an update to me... i.e. someone favorites a tweet on someones profile and the number increases from 946 to 947 it would alert me. Wasn't helpful to track new tweets at all.
 
Twitter has a streaming API, so you can get a notification all but instantly when a tweet is made matching a keyword / location / from a particular user.

Run that and react to it with whatever you want: reply / like / repost etc


The program I just released can watch for tweets by keyword. Not added location / specific user watching, mainly because there has been no demand for it. If there is the demand there, I can add it.

Couple of you PM'd me about this, but have cleared out PMs since then. The program can now do it. Watch up to a few thousand accounts, get an instant notification of a tweet and can optionally reply, retweet, like etc. Also get notifed when anyone else replies / retweets then action on those, including scrape / like etc. As it is streaming API, it doesn't use any limits, so just set it, scrape to disk and build huge lists of users interested in particular niche. Same goes for watching / streaming tweets, scrape huge email lists / user lists without hitting any limits
 
I was thinking about this the other day. Sounds like a great way to get some attention on Twitter.
 
Sorry to bump old thread but I was just searching about this via google - being the first to reply on tweets from popular accounts. And this thread, with my reply in it, came up first :-)

Anyway, I am sure I saw a newer post, few weeks ago, about someone with a script, or a service, that does this - gets you first reply on popular tweets.

Anyone know where that post is?

What's the actual example on twitter? I couldn't find it. ...or do you know of any other examples?

A good one, and precise manner
 
has this been solved? I'm looking for this, also, even if I have to pay for it.
 
I guess this will only work if it can really respond in 1-5 seconds, I have created something similar for facebook, but never achieved to respond that fast that I would really be the first one, usually like 5-10th because those huge accounts have of course every second millions of followers online and there are of course other guys botting this.

I explained above how it was done 3 years ago. Usiing the Twitter STREAMS API.

However, that will no longer work (unless you already have access) as Twitter has closed the API to the public and made it request access only
