How To Replicate Techchuck AutoBlog

I see techchuck uses feeds from PC World. But all the feeds I get from them usually have only one line or 2 at most of content excerpt. Techchuck is pulling more than that. Custom scraper maybe?

well there are tools out there to convert excerpts to full feeds but the ones ive tried have been shit at the best of times if anyone knows any good ones please share

quick guide:
1. install the plugins and theme
2. activate all the plugins
3.Kish Twitter: tick all the boxes except for - enable followers say and delete the message
4. categroy icons: all the icons in the icons folder upload to wp-content/uploads if the folder isnt there on your hosting create it!
5. use category icons settings to select the icons for each category
6. ill let you work the rest out its not brain surgery people!!!

Seems you didn't downloaded some files from your server, the theme is not working and also the graphics of the plugins. Anyone having the same problem as me ?

LOL! :D Thanks for the plugin upload. Another theme that works good is the flexibility theme (just google it). It's free, and has a crazy admin panel for changing lots of the options, adding adsense, etc.

I was trying to do it for last couple days with my files and I have try it with yours today, which are the same as mine btw ... still no luck.
 
Hey man great post. Im a noob and ive been slowly workin along with a more experienced friend.

I have a question about the gallery on the Techchuck.com blog. When you click on one of his photos it links to the article that uses that photo. I think this is way better than just having a gallery for eye candy.

Do you know how he does this? Is it a different gallery plugin that he uses.

If anyone has figured this out please post about it.

I can't add the images in the posts with Nextgen, can anybody please explain how to do that?
I don't get either the names of the autoblogs: Techchuk, Mashget, etc.

What do those names got to do with SEO and what we've read in millon IM books?
How targeted should your keyword phrases be to work for autoblogs?

I do not think this formula for regular Affiliate sites: "Avg monthly search in G >2000 and competence "" and intitle <10,000" works for Autoblogs.

I don't get the repetition of similar plugz, like CC and Wp-o-matic , Autoblogged, Yahoo answers!
Is it possible and convenient to use them at the same time, maybe with different functions or not?

How often do you submit each autoblog to Social Ntwks., Rss, etc?
Are you using them at the same time?

I believe the kish-twitter plugin clashed with some other twitter related plugin, are you using other twitter related plugin as well? If yes, you might wanna consider deactivating that and see if your kish-twitter plugin works.

Yeah I know I jut got that set up. I had the wrong permissions set on my picture folder.

Specopkirbs did you play with the rewrite feature on wp-o-matic. I think thats how he rewrites the ending
 
nah not used it yet mate im going to try it tomorrow i think im working on a new theme for it today due to the unexpected amount of traffic i want something different i think.
 
Cool report back when your done, im gonna be working on my replica today hopefully get it fully functional and get the youtube the same as he has
 
for the youtube he has used thickbox plugin and downloaded and edited the js files and css from you tube and uploaded them to his site...i think
 
Would anybody be so kind to explain how on earth do you add your thumbnails to lhe left of each of your posts with the thumbnail for excerpts plugin, please?

Edit thumbnailforexcerpts.php and set this constant to:
