Hi,

I have one website like abc. That is listed in Google good position for high traffic keywords. I move the all files abc into xyz.

Now, how can i replace the site abc to xyz in search results.

Could anyone assist me.

Thank you in advance.

See:

You can redirect at domain-level if the URL structure is the same on the new domain.

If i done 301 page redirect, Is my new site will replace exist site position in search engines automatically? If not what we have to do?

Buddy... Google '301 redirects' and read about what they are...

They're a way of telling the web that a site has moved 'permanently'. So yes... your rankings should transfer, but you should keep a steady link-velocity going throughout and obviously do your new link-building to the new domain.

301's are the only way to go. In tests most people tend to get about 80%+ of their serps and PR authority shifted over time. Nothing else is anywhere near as effective.

May i know, how long it take? means my new domain when'll replace existing website in search results. For example, when'll replace proflip . co into proflip . com.
