How to remove spammy website from website ?

Hi,

If i got in GSC that some spammy websites are linked with my website. But in GSC I'm not able to find out the exact URL but in Links section I'm only got to know about linked spammy website.

So, how to remove that spammy website from my website? By using Google disavow tool.

When removing spammy websites from your own site, it's important to identify and eliminate any links, references, or content associated with them.

To Effectively use Disavow tool, you need to list individual URLs or entire domains that you believe are harmful to your site's

SEO....Google will then take these into consideration and may discount the impact of those links on your site's rankings.

  1. Collect All Links: Use tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz to gather a list of all the websites linking to your domain.
  2. Filter Irrelevant and Low-Quality Links: Review the list and identify links that are irrelevant, low quality, or spammy. Look for links from unrelated websites, sites with low domain authority, or links with unnatural anchor text.
  3. Create a list of all the spammy links you want to disavow. Include the domain names or URLs of these links.
  4. Upload the Disavow File: Go to the Google Disavow Tool, select your website, and upload the disavow file.
 
Using Disavow is the best choice. But it will take time.
 
You can put the list of domain names in a Txt file and submit them to the disavow tool but what if these backlinks are the reason that you are getting ranked?

I would suggest leaving it as it is unless they are hurting your ranking.

Go to Google Disavow Links tool upload the list of spammy domain
This will indicate the disavow request to the google

Use third-party tools to find spammy links, make a list of them, go to the Google Disavow Tool page, select your website, upload your list, and submit to remove them, but use it carefully as it can affect your site's performance.
 
use entire domain name like example.com in google disvow tool
or use extact link of web page on the particular domain, example.com/blog/article-1
 
Create a text file listing the spammy domains and upload it through the Disavow Tool in Google Search Console. This tells Google to ignore those links when assessing your site's ranking.
 
Based on my knowledge, You can use google disavow tool to remove spammy links if you're unable to remove it manually and also keep watching your website regularly, your website can get affected because of spammy links or traffics.
 
If spammy websites are linking to your site via Google Search Console but you can't determine the URLs, use the Google Disavow Tool to remove them.
This tool asks Google to ignore harmful links, safeguarding your site's reputation and search ranking.
