How to remove Shadow ban (Hashtag)

Few of my accounts have had hashtag shadow ban, i.e. whenever I post something, it will not pick up any impressions from hashtags. But still the post goes to the explore page.
This is what I tested on a couple of my accounts and it worked and now picking up impressions from hashtags.

1. Switch to personal account (Note that you will loose all your insights )
2. Check if you have used any banned hashtags in your previous posts, if so then you have to remove those. (there are some websites available, just google it)
3. Stop posting for one week, also don't make any actions such as like, comment, follow for one week.
4. For next one week post contents without any hashtags.
5. Start using hashtags but use only maximum of 5 hashtags for one more week.
6. Switch back to Business account and you will see the hashtags will get impressions.

be patient - this is a long procedure but it will be worth it :-)

Based on experience the steps you wrote should be enough to get rid of it.

Not really. my hashtag shadow banned last more than 4 months till I tried these. Everything learned from here itself

Many reasons.
If you use same hashtags in most of the posts.
If you delete many posts at the same time.
If you use automation etc.
Sometimes they will shadow ban all features, sometimes they will shadow ban specific features like hashtags, less engagements etc.
 
there are many websites where you can check it for free. I use one called iqhastags to check the hashtags are banned or not.

Very true. I was ShadowBanned over a month. I let the account sit. Did everything everyone said to do. Nothing worked.

Letting the account sit AT MIN 14 days. However you will notice your hashtag count will be much more limited than other accounts post shadowban.
 
You get also get shadow banned if you Follow/Unfollow a lot to get attention, they see it as spam even if you do it manually via your smartphone
