HOW TO REMOVE Negative FEEDBACK on BHW

Alright, so BHW has this great feature where you're able to leave feedback after a transaction or deal was made.

The issues I am having and I know others are having as well, is that most of these people are not even active for 6+ months yet they get to leave a RED NEGATIVE SCORE on your profile for life.

My question is this:

Should negative and/or positive feedback be removed if the person who placed it becomes inactive on BHW?

For becoming inactive, definitely not. Feedback should be there for what ever circumstance unless it is false.

I personally would vote against it. A person becoming inactive does not change the fact. A tx happened, and either it was positive or neutral or negative. It ended there. Even if the user gets banned, it still does not change the fact. This is how ratings work on other platforms too, and not only on bhw.

Unless the feedback was not genuine, it should stick. If it was not genuine, the mod is always there to help you get it removed.

I don't see any correlation between an account's age and the feedback they have given for a service.

The experience they have received from one's services does not change due to them just not being active.

Why would their activity level affect the reputation they left you? Seems like some pretty dumb logic to me.

I get your point OP, it's bad for business, anyway, feedbacks are mostly legit, good or bad ones, they are there for a reason.

You can always report it and work with mods if there is a case, of course, if there is a good enough reason for feedback to be removed.

We get this kind of question from sellers a lot with this exact same suggestion of removing feedback from inactive buyers.

As others have stated, a member's activity level has no correlation with the experience they had with you as a seller or the product or service you offer(ed).

For instance, there are local places I've done business with and, after a negative experience with them, I left them negative feedback. Years have gone by, and I no longer use some of the platforms that I once did to leave them feedback, but it doesn't change the experience I had with them at the time. Sure, products and services change, but if I saw that the business genuinely accepted my feedback and improved their business from it instead of trying to look for ways to get it removed, I would actually consider doing business with them again and changing my old reviews.

This is the purpose of feedback here on Black Hat World. All of your reviews, positive and negative, can help a potential buyer make a decision on whether or not they should work with you. If a buyer sees that you consistently had issues with your product's quality at one point, but now your product's quality is being praised by your customers, this is a great sign that you're someone to work with.
