How to remove linkjuice from a domain by owning it

I own domain name "key1key2.net". I can't use this domain anymore because key1 is a registered trademark (key2 is not). This domain has a lot of backlinks and scores #1 for the exact search [key1 key2].

I made a new site "key3key2.com/key1/" and would like to get to #1 for the exact search [key1 key2]

What would be the best way to promote the new site? I can't forward the old domain to the new one, that's to risky.

Would blocking from indexing the old domain name in Google remove the linkjuice and make it easier to rank the new site?

Let me hear your thoughts about this

Redirect the site to a blog on blogspot for example.
But it's all airbitrage in the end, since you won't renew the domain i'm betting.
better to just focus all the work on the new domain since you don't feel like connecting your new domain to the old one.

By redirecting the links on the blog should point to the new domain? That would indeed connect the new domain with the old.

why blogspot? Just redirect it to your new domain, it will carry over as if nothing changed
