I would like to ban/remove/de-index a site from the serps of google. The site has been playing around the 1st & 2nd page of google, but the thing is that the site has not been updated since 2007. The site also has a backlink on topix.net from different cities. Please help me with my problem.

Not gonna happen. What you can do is get your site to nr1 & 2 though.

Well I dominate the 1st,2nd and 3rd page of google and that site has been playing in 1st & 2nd page of google. I am doing ORM btw..

look for the robot.txt website. they have all instructions to delist alll yer pages from google

But I don't own the site that I wanted out of the serps. Well I wanted to push that site down to pages 3-4 of google. I have created blogs, bookmarks, authoritypages but still it dances.

Bust into their server and edit the robots file then, thats really the only way, but i dont condone breaking and entering.

Well dont do that one.. If I have gone into their servers I will not only edit the robots I will remove that post and redirect that page to google.com:D

I read an article somewhere once that said if you spam wikipedia then both they and google will blacklist your site.

My recommendation is to get your ass behind a proxy, and start trying to get traffic to the website you are trying to get banned like a blackhat noob.

kaj01, if that were possible then people would simply spam their competitor's sites on wikipedia. Wikipedia may blacklist it, yes, not Google.

then that would be pretty hard for you OP. your only choice is to have atleast 4 sites ranking ahead of the site that you want gone!

blackhatedition, if it were that easy to make money online then everybody would be doing it.

How many times in your life have you heard that? Maybe this wouldn't work with wiki, like I said I read it in an article. But if it's possible to get your own site banned from google for over promoting it, then it's possible to get somebody else's website banned by doing the same thing.

It think this would still be beneficial to the site that I want out of the first 3 pages of google, and also by doing this it would rank higher and not banning it from the serps of Google.

I would agree with you, as stated above it would ban the site on wiki and not google.

I have 15 websites registered for it, and almost all of them are on the first 3 pages of google, this one website is my only problem, I have pushed the other negative comments but not this one.

What can you suggest I do or where should I promote for all of my sites to rank and push down the site.

Hey guys lets not make anything out of this..be cool:cool:

And I still think that it would benefit the site and not cause it to be banned. And also think about the year it was created 2007, and we all know that the older the site/page google loves them.
