I deleted my article on Medium a few days ago but see it still in google results and the content is saved in google cache

I want to move this article to my site but afraid of duplicated content

Difficult to give you an exact time frame. You can, however, speed up the process by requesting Google remove the outdated content. You can do that here. Just follow the steps after submitting the URL.

yes, but not sure it can work for not personal sites

As long as the page isn't live you can submit the removal request using the link I posted. Doesn't matter if you own the site or not.

Ping it, submit it to indexing services or submit it to google.
I think it should work. Otherwise eventually google will notice the page is no longer live.

I would put it up for indexing, if I were you. You can start by contacting Google for the removal of that page. :)
