HOW TO REMOVE ARTICLES ABOUT MY FRIEND ON WEED ?

My friend got caught in the USA with 58 grams of marijuana, he was driving and got pulled. Anyways, it was wrote on a couple of local news sites. It's old news now, however, it's effecting his chances. Does anyone know the best way to go about removal. I tried to message the contributors to remove the article but they are not replying.

Whats on the web stays on the web for ever. Even if the news site go offline. Its still in waybackmachine or somthing.

Your looking for online reputation management. Have your buddy do something good like save the sea turtles.

Then use the marketplace here to do a press release about it. There is one provider that charges under 20 bucks

1.Get list of negative keywords like
"Weed + your friend name"
2. build Web 2.0, fake social media profiles on those keywords
3.( Risky) Build spam links to your competitors i mean your local news sites which shows negative. This option can make them deindex or may make them powerful

Create a fake personalia and use the site describing thr person (good onpage seo)

Create all popular social web 2.0's (facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more) make sure the web 2.0's get indexed

Watch the serps after index, start building links to all web 2.0's and the personalia site.

3 likely would be a waste of time with old ranked news articles. If they were brand new maybe but I doubt google would bury something like this based on negative seo.

try to rank parasites for his name to outrank these, or email them directly asking to remove it, or submit dmca for character deflamation or whatever
