Someone posted a reddit thread defaming someone I know, was wondering if there was a way to take it down?

For reddit content takedown, the person affected should report the thread directly to reddit. go to the post, click the report button, and follow the instructions to categorize the issue (defamation, harassment,etc). or contact reddit through their official contact form or email, providing all necessary details and asking for removal.
