I hope i'm in the right forum. i really need help
i got a free domain from register.com.
now, i want to use that free domain to blogger.com (blogspot) as custom domain. i will use that site for only two months at most, so i don't want to spend for hosting.
how can i make it work? i already have two sites hosted by blogger but i bought the domain before straight from blogger, so the settings was already there, i just use it right away. but now, i can't make this one work.
here's what i already did:
1. signed up for a blogspot address e.g. mysite.blospot.com
2. i redirect it to mynewdomain.com
3. log in to register.com. i changed the cname record to ghs.google.com (as per blogger help)
but when i go to mynewdomain.com - it's the same just like before. I'm wondering, do i need to change also the dns records (domain registers). Here's the picture from register.com settings for reference:
