Hi all,

I had an old account registered around 2012 on here. I have tried multiple emails and passwords but I think I may have deleted the email I used to sign up manyyears ago.

Is there any account recovery option??

Talk to support, they can help you if you can prove it with details of for example dm`s content and so on: https://support.blackhatworld.com/support/tickets/new
Ok so I am quite sure I know of the email on the account but I think it’s deleted (not the account but the email). So are you saying if I know the email I can get in?

Na, you probably need to know what dm`s internally says when you communicated with dm`s with members here, it`s one way of proving that it is your account.
There’s no way I would be able to recall DM’s, this was like 4-5 years ago. Do you know if there are other ways to recover such as verifying birthday? I can maybe recall names of members I had conversations with but not the actual content. This sucks man

Just contact support and ask how you can reclaim your account, I personally have never done it so they might have more ways for you, don`t complicate things, you have nothing to loose and everything to win in this case, so contact them.

You can try account recovery by checking if the platform offers a "Forgot Password" option. If you don't remember the email, contact their support team with any possible details (username, old emails, payment history, etc.). If the account was deleted, recovery might not be possible.

Yes thank you, I’m just trying to even see if I would know anything aside from the email because I know there’s nothing support can do if otherwise. I will try my best

imagine all the fraud going on if you could recover accounts with just knowing their birthday.
what is in the water these days.
what even prompts a man to delete an email address.
i look at my pw vault... probably 50 gmails alone. not once did i think let me delete this one.

You don’t delete emails you don’t use?

I am diagnosed with OCD and have a tendency to over-delete but I do not at all think deleting an old account is abnormal in anyway. I delete old text threads, social media pages, etc. too. I figure that having to remember passwords of accounts I don’t use is just taking up more space in my brain increasing the likelihood I forget login credentials to accounts I do use.

email is like gold i just let them sit and collect dust in my pw vault.
never know when you will need to go in there to recover a bhw account from 5 years ago.
i cannot imagine keeping all these credentials in my head i would go mad.
lastpass, keepass, keeper, bitwarden, 1password. lots of tools these days.

I have a way I think I may be able to recover the account actually. I’d like to message a moderator directly but realized I do not have the proper privileges yet on this acc. If I can get clarification on that I will proceed with the account recovery process. I’d like to ask first though because if it is insufficient I’d rather not waste my and the staff’s time.

Maybe another symptom of my OCD but I never trust those password vaults. If they were to get compromised you would lose *every* single account of yours. The most important accounts I have, like my payment processors etc. I go off memory for.

Mods you can close the thread, am going to contact staff directly.

EDIT: I’m still not able to message mods…

You hire someone that deals with unbans, plenty of groups in tele that have people advertising those services, Just don't get scammed.

Just a FYI, we prefer that you always open a support ticket vs. DMing us. It'll likely get passed on to support staff anyways so it drops a step and makes the process slightly faster.
