How to reboot the router from my pc.

Hello,

I have a router and I could disconnect/reconnect fine, but today I get a new router and I can't find the disconnect/connect button in the 192.168..

You guys know how else to reboot the router, without manually going to the router to turn on/off.

My router model is from billion.com

press reset button on router itself or you can read manual. It is small and useless peace of list, where you can find very detailed tuttorial

No, I don't want to manually get up and go to the router, I want to reboot the router from my pc.I could do it fine with my another router (thomson tg 580), but this one, it's from billion.com, I did lots of googling but can't find answer yet, I have click every tabs and menu in the 192.168... but I just can't fine a way to reboot the router.You guys know a way without I having to buy a new router from thomson.

Not all routers support the ability to reboot from the web interface. If the router supports it, you could flash DDWRT onto it and then use command line to reboot.

Can u give more information on how to check whether my router supports reboot from web interface.So, that I can make the decision to buy new router.

What I have done is open command promt, putting DDWRT and click enter, but it seems like I'm doing wrong, can u please give more information.

If you can't find a button to reboot from the interface, then it doesn't support it.

Flashing your router to ddwrt is probably a bad idea if you didn't understand what I said the first time since you can brick your router doing it. So you're left getting out of your chair to reboot.

Found the solution, actually, there is no disconnect button, but if I just click save in the basic settings page, it also reboot the router and ip.
