    Hello all,

    I bought good domain which expired recently. So somebody had site, few 1000s of pages, good and unique content, traffic etc. How to re-create site as it was? So I continue where that previous owner stopped.

    Domain/site expired and it is not live so I can't reach content to I copy-paste it. Content is 80-90% available in Google cache and in archive.org site.

    Is there any way that I can use some program to automatically grab whatever is available. Any suggestion?

    Thanks

    Sure vb net is your friend:

    Code:
    Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
        Dim Loading As String = "Loading..."
        TextBox1.Text = Loading
        Dim request As System.Net.HttpWebRequest = System.Net.HttpWebRequest.Create(TextBox2.Text)
        Dim response As System.Net.HttpWebResponse = request.GetResponse()

        Dim sr As System.IO.StreamReader = New System.IO.StreamReader(response.GetResponseStream())

        Dim sourcecode As String = sr.ReadToEnd()
        TextBox1.Text = sourcecode
    End Sub

    Try to hire some people from microjobs sites :D
    Hire 10 different people that will do 300 pages in one month, 10 page per day.
    In one month you will have 3000 posts on your site :)
    Just give them permissions only to post on your WP site and that's it...

    This is something that I have been wondering about. Some sites that I have purchased had a large amount of content on it.

    Before recreating the expired domain make sure that the previous site owner didn't using the content in anyother website because this leads to copyright violation this will lead to google penaulty.Some site-owners buy new domain which is more specific than his old one and migrate the contents to their new website. For example (old site: blog-site.com, if he got a new site blogsite.com, then he simply migrate the content).
