The key is not overoptimizing your posts but filling them with good content. Also if you can write a post atleast every few days or everyday you will have more pages indexed in google quicker which can boost rankings.

I see alot of 1 page affiliate sites that have badly written articles on the first page. if you beat them in quality, design, and the right quality backlinking strategies then you're ready to outrank your competitors.

Remember when judging competition you are only looking at the first 10 results thats your only competition here.

My site is doing the google dance and will be on page one within the next week and I will post results!

I am getting early traffic flooding in from youtube as well. same for youtube is you have HQ videos you will see HQ results!

Why not provide others with value isn't that what this forums for :)

Absolutely, but I fail to see what that has to do with this thread. You didn't say anything other than "to be better, do better". Valuable stuff right there

I think I speak for all of BHW when I say no thanks, we're good

gil2gen, keep it up! keep us updated with the results.

You do have an excellent point, when I look at other sites within various niches particularly targeting specific products on either clickbank or amazon; the writing and layout of the sites are generally pretty bland and half-assed. You are doing an excellent job realizing that content is king in the blogging/IM game. Don't forget to build an email list, I personally believe that data is more important than the sale because with data, you can conduct multiple transactions furthermore along the road.

Also, it sounds as though you are targeting for specific products. I would recommend zeroing in on a specific industry niche and playing it out for the long-run. Become an expert in your field, build an audience, collect email addresses, and bank for the long run.

When I say become an expert in your field, I literally mean to go out there and read up on as much material and information as you can, find the communities and forums of that niche and become an authoritative and respected figure amongst those communities, and help others.

The overly misinterpreted part of sales and marketing that most people don't realize is that in order to succeed, we cannot focus on financial gains but we must focus on fulfilling the needs of others and we must provide the answers to their problems. By doing so, the financial gains will come ten-fold.

P.S. Ignore those who try attempt to put you down, thank you for the share. It may not have been highly informative to every member on the forum, but surely it will help someone on here.

P.S.S. This is supposed to be a community people, show some support and stop with the criticism and trolling to increase your post counts. Offer something constructive or don't bother posting at all.

This was my point. My post count is high enough btw

Something is wrong with this thread.

are you here to troll?

I would say you are the troll here. You just wanted to tell us that your site will get nr1 position next week, right? Ofcourse if you have better content and better links you will outrank your competition, dont you think everyone already knows that here?

some people may know and some don't but thanks for pointing that out I will come up with more useful info to post!

I don't think quality content always moves in top, but we need backlinks too from the other end. In these days content is king, but when we stop writing content it drops in SERP.

I agree. One must go into it with the right goal in mind, and the right goal is to add value to the lives of other people. The money will start coming in when the goal is reached...

This is where I must have been going wrong in life, you see I just use shit content and loads of links. Thanks for the tip, I am now in the middle of writing a quality article, and who knows I may make it to around page 367 without any links.

I'm pretty new to niche marketing, getting some decent traffic to my new website as we speak, your share was helpful!

Writing unique and quality content is the best way. No doubts here!

But the whole thing doesn't get over at just writing quality stuff. Obviously after writing such valuable contents you'd want someone to read, discuss, talk and share them. And to get all these you'll need to build links using social media sites, forums, blogs, etc..etc.

Man...well said!! Joining communities and coming across as industry expert will not just bring in traffic, but also help seo, if you post your links cleverly.
