How to rank website on google. Need SEO advice

Hello,
Some time ago I found great guide about how to make single page game hack website how to make it, what theme to use, how to slowly rank it, but I somewhere lost that link and guide.

I am thinking to start SEO, buying for example clashofclanshack.com and write 1 single article(~4000 words) and slowly rank it adding WEB 2.0 links etc. But do not have so much experience about SEO.
Maybe you know any useful guide?
As for me it is not to rank as fast as possible, I want to rank slowly and test and fail, and again test, but want to know where and how to start.
If you can help I would really appreciate that!

can you rank a website with only one post? always though that you need many posts for internal linking and siloing. anyway, waiting for the answers from other BHWers

Target the long tailkeywords around the hack website, I am sure you can find other keywords related apart from your main keyword. Slowly start ranking for those either with a silo structure interlinking within your website, there is an article about silo in this forum. Pls refer that.. once you start ranking for these long tail keywords you will start ranking for the big one and eventually outrank your competitors. Good luck it’s a slow process but worth doing.
