How to rank Top in google with competitve keyword

i would like to creat new website , and my keyword is very competitve , it hase more than 70,000,000 search results in google , i would buy domain for this keyword with exact name , actualy English is not my native language so i might find some diffculties in writing articles and contents for this website , instead i will creat few pages like 4 or 5 pages and start sending backlinks to this pages and focus on the main page with keyword on my ancher text , do you think i can ran top in google ? is it really difficult ? and why pleas ?
i would reallt appreciate if any body can give me more informtion on what i should do , and what i shouldnot ,

there are no guarantees just do your best with good content and build links to seo optimize your site and see what will happen.

I would start with less popular keyword. You'll get tired until you see any results, go for something easier.

im sure you could find an easier to target keyword, it doesnt have to be the most searched for one.

OK this is what you can do..Search for alternative keywords with lesser competition.It shouldn't be totally different but very similar.You can use wordtracker keyword suggestion tool its a free tool.So basically you use simialar keywords and start creating pages regarding that keyword and You can have better chances of getting ranked in google search results.Build as many backlinks as possible.Submit your site to social bokmarking sites and RSS feed aggregators.If you work really hard you can see results showing up.

Its not impossible but may take some time. Also buying some links in a non obvious way will help quite a bit i've noticed.
