If you want people to see your post on Reddit you need to post it on some sub. You can post it on your profile, but only your followers will see. When you post on some sub, that post will be in HOT section for a few minutes. To keep your post in HOT, you need upvotes or comments. The bigger the sub the more upvotes you need to stay in HOT. Some subs need some account age and Karma in order to post there. That depends how strict AutoModeration is.
About Karma. If you dont have Karma, its not a problem, on Reddit you can get 1k Karma in a day. Fastest way to get Karma is on NSFW subs. There are like hundreds of NSFW subs that you can post to get Karma. Just go on Redgifs find some good gif with Lana Rhodes or Ellie Leen or any famous girl and post on subs like WorldPacks... Few days ago i posted Ellie Leen gif on that sub and i got 2k upvotes in 2 days. Then delete post and continue to do what you do on Reddit.
Crossposting. Crossposting is great way to grow your sub. If you promote something or self promotion, make your own sub, post on that sub and then crosspost that post on other subs. Some subs dont allow crossposting but many does, so find that subs that allow crossposts and crosspost there. You can do that every 24h on every sub. Dont crosspost too much because you will get banned. Do 3-5 crosspost every hour. You can crosspost post from your profile, but its better to do it from your sub.
Subreddits. If you have some subreddit make sure you make another account with different device and give him full mod. Why? If you create a sub and grow it and it become good sub if you have only one mod, if that mod get banned for some reason (it wont be first time reddit banned someone for no reason) that sub will be lost. Make sure you have more than one mod on every sub you have.
