how to rank on google IT

Hi,I found some high profit keyword and I'm thinking about opening e-shop or selling affiliated products,I can speak in Italian with no problems...
But the problem is that I don't know how to rank on specific google (google it),The problem is that .it EMD is not available,so I'm thinking about .eu .com .biz .net ...So to rank on google it do I need backlinks from .it domains?

Host your website in your country, ask your hoster about that. Build your links from Italian websites, blogs, etc., Put content in your language.
Most importantly *in google analytics set your country as Italy*.
 
to rank better in .it , here are my points:

1. go to google webmaster tool and set your targeted country as Italy
2. If you can fetch some links from .it domains that would certainly be a big plus point but dont over do it...
3. Build some generic web2.0 sites with Italian content ...it will help you a lot.

Well hostgator doesn't have Italian servers...I can't find good Italian web hosting :( almost all want to be paid annualy and I don't want to pay annualy...

I would definitely find an Italian web host, make sure and get a domain with whatever TLD is most common in Italy then build links like normal.
 
found hosting,bought .it domain with 93% of density
 
so hosting location does make a difference with SEO? I would have thought gwebmaster tools would correct that.
