Run a 3 month TV campaign with a strong CTA on your brand name, after establishing brand awareness follow up this campaign with the CTA focused on brand name + head term, 3 monthls like this and a steady uptake in traffic search on brand keyword will be a good start. See if you can negotiate homw page links on the TV channels that are running you campaigns, most will do this as a freebie. Do a ton of paid search.
Or simulate the above with pandabot and sape via very high TF blanket 301 domains.
Or maybe just build a pbn.
Its hard to give an idea on strategy without knowing budget.

Its completely depends on your budget for this task.Since you have new site and targeting high competitive KW, so i would suggest to build HQ links and some PBN to start. But building links should be a slow and steady process. Don't go to churn and burn. Good luck!
Do you have any experience in IM and if so, how much? If this is your first attempt then it's not a good idea to start at the top, for 1 important reason, the likelihood of failure.
Failure is something that most of us have experienced during our time in IM and it can be devastating to work all the hours to find that after months or in many cases years there's still no sign of any real money coming in.
My advise to you is to read what you can here on BHW and start slowly with low comp KWs. When I say low comp I don't necessarily mean low search volume. Go for at least 1000 local monthly searches for a low comp KW and add some LT KWs also.

For your new site do the following:
ON page SEO:
Concentrate on unique content with more than 700 words and it has images or videos or both to make your site SEO friendly. Also, place your main keyword in the meta description tag within 150 characters.
OFF page SEO:
Build more backlinks with PBN or guest posting or both which are more than enough for ranking. Also, bookmark your site URL in the social bookmarking sites. Better to share your pages on the site to the social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc., Build your social accounts and make more followers.

I have personal blog. When I write about article with trending keyword, it receives many traffics from google without any SEO trick. Just writing content with trending keyword.

Focusing on low competitive keywords would be better to get ranking for the newly created website, but if you would like to focus on high competitive then you need to more work on your specified keywords. Write the high-quality contents on your keywords and keep update your blog regularly. Building the high-quality backlinks on your keywords.

If you have the budget, buy g00gle ads to compete with higher site. Simple as that, for faster result. Meanwhile you can start building link slowly.
