work on your onpage, offpage, and try to internal linking your related pages.
1. Pray for next google update not to bring your site lower.
2. Do some keyword research based on your page 1 competitors . Use tools like Ahrefs, Semrush , check their keyword density on their articles ...
3. Write longer articles (1k words or more)
4. Get some HQ Guest post (from site with lots of traffic not just high DA PA TF) or even ******** press release
5. Pray a bit... sometimes it helps lol

Agreed. If the content is already optimized to the best of your ability, then it’s likely backlinks that will help you reach the first page.

First step is the keyword research then comes the on-page seo (and some backlinks could be helpful). Generally longer articles rank better, be as informative as you can. But this could be a problem too: if you want your visitors to read the whole article it should be interesting. Ask your friends, collagues, etc. to "review" your content.

As for the keyword research check the first pagers and benchmark the keywords with a tool like Wordtracker.
