Some tips;
- Your main keyword, have that in the domain name
- Write really long articles
- Build LSI/branded backlinks (those will after all match your main keyword)
- Rank the homepage
- Write 1-2k more words than the best in the top 10 of that specific keyword (you only got a small amount of articles to write anyway)

Build some content around your main keywords and link to it from inside and outside your site. Ideally write an article targeting your main keywords and place that as the home page. Then deep link back to your main page from other content you create using keywords you want to rank for.

this is helpful info, i usually had 700 word articles? do you add lot of videos and images to post?

No, videos and images has nothing to dow tih rankings - you write a lot of words.
Rich media has great effect on SEO. Stuff like images, tables, lists and video's are recommended to see an on-page boost.
Just don't do it for the sake of adding them. Add informative images that provide information to your users.
